We are on day 2 of sweet potatoes...thank goodness he is not like his sister (she could never hold 'em down).  Everyday gets a little more fun around here.  With every new giggle or milestone, Lucy loves on him just a little more.  I love watching the love grow!

I give Lucy all the credit for the photos she is not in. She said she wanted to take pictures of Theo because he is soooooo cute!

We finally got some sun here after all the rain... and we are taking full advantage.  All 3 of us went to bed with some major rosey cheeks :)

Baby food. Meh. I much more enjoyed the jello mom put in my mouth much sooner than she should have.

I see the light.  Play has begun.  I see the near future... and I am in love.

I woke up to find we all crashed missing the second half of Willy Wonka.  I gotta say it felt good.  It was also at that moment I realized I was freezing. All I wanted was a blanket.  I just stared around the quiet room. Then I realized it's almost 5 o'clock and I have nothing for dinner.  All we had today was donuts and chocolate milk after church. 

We survived.

current obsession > a nursery made from love

I was so head over heals for lucy's room that it was hard to wrap my head around a room perfect for theo.  What ended up is a little of each family members personality wrapped into one.  I got the bold white and gray geometric walls (not to mention my little corner nook for feeding), daddy got his love for vintage robots and star wars.  Lucy helped donate toys, and daily she leaves a little of her mess :)  I see a future for this room - add ons here and there...an evolution into his teen years.  I hope he loves it just as much as we do!

(we did find a sultry princess leia poster, and thought it would be funny to put on the ceiling over his crib... could you imagine a nursery with teen throb posters everywhere?! It got me to laugh!)

It's just not the same.  Searching for a Christmas Tree with no hand saw.  No over-sized winter coat.  No brother [tommy].  And definitely with no snow.  Theo made up for that...just looking at him while we watched daddy put up the outdoor lights, made it feel like we were in a winter wonderland.

Mom: "What's in my belly"?

Lucy: "A baby..."

Mom: "Is the baby in my belly a boy or girl"?

Lucy: "A boy..."

Mom: "What's his name"?

Lucy: "Obi-wan Kenobi" 

This has been legit for at least a month now - I'm sure it's the one :)
